Oil Paintings


These are two of my most recent oil paintings. One was painted at Coit Tower, and the other in the Marina. Learning is always the goal.

I like the curvy lines in the tree trunk on the first one. And I know exactly where you were for the second one, but where are all the joggers?? [smile].

Yeah, where's the bridge??? There are the Marin Headlands and no bridge! That's funny. I LOVE how painting is a reflection of what we can see and put our attention on while engrossed in the painting process.

I'd call the absence of the bridge an "artistic decision" [smile]
